ECO Youth: Environmental Community Organizers

ECO Youth, (Environmental Community Organizers) is a grassroots youth-led movement that stands up for justice for our communities.  We fight against all types of inequality: from racism to classism, from the toxins and pollution in our environment to the health problems in our communities.  We promote healthy lifestyles that everyone can access and benefit from.

ECO Youth trains and supports young people as community organizers and multimedia educators.  ECO Youth projects have included interactive workshops on food justice, nutrition, diesel air pollution, asthma and climate change.  ECO Youth takes direct action to improve urban environments and support community health.  Check out this amazing video from PressPassTV called “Vehicle of Change,” about how we use the GreenDrive ECO Bus project to create change in our communities:
